With the latest wave of snow hitting NYC just days ago, mountain bikers and roadies alike are forced to keep their bikes on lockdown as they watch their favorite trail system or road route hibernate into winter mode. If the snow isn’t enough to keep most people off their bikes, the cold temperatures should do the trick. Freezing hands, cold feet and miserable conditions are just a few good reasons to call off the afternoon ride and hang out indoors.
