ITS BEEN A FEW WEEKS SINCE WE LAST POSTED…… But the time is near. After some small delays in May, the Brooklyn bike park has seen a full transformation.  The finishing touches are being put into place over the next two weeks and opening day is now scheduled for early July -But there’s one small hangup.

Local Groups Break Ground at Brooklyn Bike Park

Ten volunteers from local MTB groups gathered in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to pitch in on the ground breaking effort for the borough’s first bike park. Led by course builder and designer Jim Dellavalle of Pennsylvania, group leaders met to develop an action plan to manage the construction of the park, which is slated to open on Memorial day weekend, May 27th.
