Round 4 of the Sids Bikes Summer Sprint Series hosted a smaller crowd than usual with only 6 participants, all feeling great that a casual race was the start of their weekend! 

Round three of the Sids Bikes Summer Sprint Series was a chill way to finish the week’s grind. Twelve participants gathered to tackle drier trails in warmer temperatures this round,

The Highbridge trails got spanked right on Sunday, with eleven people volunteering an unprecedented 40 hours of labor. All of the back trails were raked, and vigorous poison Ivy cut back, and the DJ’s got a face-lift with a spankin’ new roll-in and a base for the first jump in the new beginner line!

Last Friday night was the second installment of the 2010 Sids Bikes NYC summer sprint series.  Twelve racers competed in cooler temperatures in the low 80s this week. With humidity only 46%, It was a fantastic evening for these twelve men to battle it out in the only free MTB race series in NYC! The trails were perfectly tacky from the recent showers. The inaugural race of the 2010 Sid’s Bikes Summer Sprints race series at Highbridge saw some solid racing action with a new time-trial format and some familiar faces plus new friends. The rain held off and the trails were in fine condition (better for the moisture, actually, as the trails had been bone-dry and even a bit sandy in places due to the oppressive heat of late.
