NYCMTB Fall/Winter Group Rides

There’s no shortage of technical trails on the Ringwood loop.
Race season is more or less over, but riding season never ends. Join us for some fall/winter rides, where we focus more on company and fun than VO2 Max, we may even stop to tackle some log piles, skinnies and rollers. Cyclists should be prepared to spend 3-5 hours in the saddle for each and one of these rides. NYC Velo 2015 Fall Adventure Series

Fall is here and our go-to shop NYC Velo has pinned down the dates for the fall adventure rides. Sure, we’re a mountain bike club and these are road rides, but they’re not your average road rides. If we see a repeat of last year you could be in for some bush-whacking, wading and hiking. Cunningham Pump and Flow Work Party

Cunningham Park, Queens
October 24 & 25 from 9:00am – 3:00pm
Join us for a massive trail work party to maintain and improve the pump track. If enough people show up we will build a small flow pump line for kids in the same general area. Come help sling dirt and learn from the pros. We can use a few plate compactors, if you have one for us to borrow let us know.

Windham Mountain will host the eighth of nine UCI World Cup stops and is the only stop in the United States; other stops include Lourdes, France; Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Republic; Albstadt, Germany; Fort William, Great Britain; Leogang, Austria; Lenzerheide, Switzerland; Mont Sainte-Anne, Canada; and Val di Sole, Italy.
