Last Friday night was the second installment of the 2010 Sids Bikes NYC summer sprint series. Twelve racers competed in cooler temperatures in the low 80s this week. With humidity only 46%, It was a fantastic evening for these twelve men to battle it out in the only free MTB race series in NYC! The trails were perfectly tacky from the recent showers. The inaugural race of the 2010 Sid’s Bikes Summer Sprints race series at Highbridge saw some solid racing action with a new time-trial format and some familiar faces plus new friends. The rain held off and the trails were in fine condition (better for the moisture, actually, as the trails had been bone-dry and even a bit sandy in places due to the oppressive heat of late.
