This Thursday, 2009 Leadville 100 womens winner Rebecca Rusch will make a live appearance at the Union Square 14 movie theater in New York City for the showing of “Race Across the Sky”. Come meet this endurance racing legend (2 time 24 Hour Solo world champion) before the movie inside the Union Square 14 theater, or throw back some drinks with her at the official NYCMTB afterparty at Professor Thom’s (2nd Ave between 13th and 14th) from about 9:45pm onward.

IMBA and NYCMTB are supporting our national parks by participating in Feel Free: A Cause for Our National Parks, a free concert tonight in Central Park featuring Eric Benet, Peter Coyote, Gavin DeGraw, Jose Feliciano, Carole King, Allison Krauss & Union Station, Counting Crows, and Augustana. Concert starts at 7 in the East Meadow (east side of the park near 5th Ave in the upper-90’s), and the evening also features a public performance of the new Ken Burns documentary on national parks.
