After years of hustling and fighting the good fight, longtime MTB advocate and former NYC IMBA rep Matt Lebow finally got the go-ahead to open the trails of Wolfe’s Pond Park to mountain biking. Now he and a crew of dedicated volunteers are re-building the long-standing but not-previously-legal dirt jumps in the southwest corner of the park. Check out the great coverage in the NY Times of their efforts:

Nice work, Matt, and great recognition for the other Shaolin old-schoolers who’ve come back for the Wolfe’s Pond Park dirt jump’s second act.
