Highbridge Dirt Jump Park Progress

10 August 2010 No Comment

The Highbridge trails got spanked right on Sunday, with eleven people volunteering an unprecedented 40 hours of labor. All of the back trails were raked, and vigorous poison Ivy cut back, and the DJ’s got a face-lift with a spankin’ new roll-in and a base for the first jump in the new beginner line!

We cleared out the plugged up storm drain structure that had been flooding the jumps for the past couple of years…

Alex refaced the blown out berm in the pumptrack…

We buried the stairs for a new start-deck/roll-in……

and excavated the base of jump #1 in our new beginner line!

Here is a view from the side

Some more random shots…

Thank you everyone for coming by and throwing down!  See you next week!

Big thanks to our Sunday trailwork sponsor Tread Bikes, for buying food and drinks for all our volunteers. Thanks!
