Westchester TRIFECTA June 24th

Dirt Lovers,
We are quickly approaching Saturday, June 24, the day we set out to complete the 2017 edition of The Westchester Trifecta. One day, three trails and a bunch of stuff in between. In total we’re looking at almost 100 miles of gravel, pavement, dirt and single track. It’s only three days after the Summer Solctice but there’s still a chance we’ll run out of daylight…

NYCMTB participates in Outdoorfest 2017 on June 10th, with a free event at Highbridge Park in Manhattan, featuring mountain bike group clinics, free bike and helmet demos and guided rides on the park’s easier trails.
 Participants need not have their own equipment, and bikes for all ages including toddlers will be available.
there is no age limit for participation in the clinics and group rides, but riders must be able to balance and pedal on their own in order to participate. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for waiver signing.

First Saturday’s at Wolfes Pond Trail Maintenance

Big thanks to Partnerships for Parks and the volunteers who showed up on Saturday and helped clean up the trail head on Hylan and Holton, close off a social entrance, and cutback growth on the trails.  First Saturdays continue at Wolfes Pond June 3rd.  Join us and make a difference.
