Since I've gotten some calls at home tonight about it, let me say definitively here that the race is on for Sunday. Highbridge escaped the bad rain for most of the day, and only got significant stuff after 3:30 PM. And the rain count for NYC is only 17/100ths of an inch currently.
I taped off the course after the festival, and left around 6:30. At that point, the course was very slick, and if it remains that slick, racers will have to use caution through the technical rock sections and through the greasy mud. As Mike said in another thread, there's likely to be some hike-a-bike through the slick and steep climbing sections, so wear appropriate shoes and be prepared.
General weather conditions are forecast to improve through the day tomorrow, so we'll see you in the AM. |

| Sorry I missed it. Will there be more races there? If so, when? |

I don't think there's plan for anymore this year.
Check out the H2H series for more races. There's a link somewhere on the forum with a full schedule. _________________ Energy and persistence conquer all things.

| I've been kicking around some ideas, but they won't be traditional XC races like this one. They will, however, be tons of fun. Stay tuned... |
